 Capital District Computer Enthusiasts of New York, Inc. (CDCENY) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational charity whose mission is to provide outreach in the field of computing and related technologies to both our direct membership and surrounding communities.

CDCENY welcomes the opportunity to educate all individuals, from the casual user to the advanced, on the wonders and challenges associated with today’s technological achievements.

We acknowledge that only through such community involvement are we able to attain our educational goals.

CDCENY has been around for over 25 years and we are still going strong.

We are continually updating our web presence to better serve our members and the members of our community.

We meet monthly at the Bethlehem Public Library in the Community Room from 7pm - 9pm (weather permitting).

Even if you have been using Windows 7 for awhile, there's always something new you can learn! Everyone from new users to veterans will appreiate the tips and tricks to get more performance.

 

Tips and Tricks to be covered include:

     Recovering from locked-up applications

     Adjusting how many programs display in your jumplist (by the way, what is a jumplist?)

     Increasing the size of the taskbar application preview

     Using built in sticky notes

     How to preview and manage fonts

     The "shake" feature

     and more as time allows
